I have mentioned this to both my tutor and Kate about my issue with the Fusion 360 file and have made many attempts to resolve the issue but I could not find a solution and therefore I was not able to submit an illustrator file. I, however, do understand the process of transforming the render into a drawing then moving it to illustrator

100 Word Statement
Geometric Shapes
The choice of shape dramatically alters the perspective and complexity of the design. Geometric shapes have distinct corners and edges as opposed to organic forms which are more irregular and asymmetrical and cannot be easily constructed using geometry. When materials are added as well as setting the atmosphere of the model, its structure and facade are immediately enhanced. As seen in an example, the accentuation of shadows and light allows the models' geometric aspects to be exposed and allows spaces to be divided. With a non-traditional approach, this ultimately creates a sense of intentional rigidity and chaos and also may be used to create abstract interpretations of designs that would normally be depicted as organic shapes.

Additional Models
Additional Models
Each of these three models combines different experimentations that I wanted to test out myself which all includes different geometric forms, a recurring design scheme in all my previous models. By using non traditional shapes in some of my models, it becomes the room's primary focal point, making the room/space appear grander.
Initial Sketches
Model 1
Model 2
Out of the three models, model three is the most intriguing as the structure is very non conventional. These choices were made inspired by my own bedroom structure, with the inclusion of a small hallway before it leads into the bedroom. The chosen window facade with the many lines reflects a strange yet interesting pattern on the walls which was my intention.
The scale was 1:25 as it was a decent size to build the models in without wasting any material.

WEEK 8
Photoshop experiments
The photoshopped images took a-lot longer than expected as i am still trying to learn the software's different functions. This was my first attempt at using photoshop to add different materials. It took me a while to grasp the tools and therefore i found this task very challenging and time consuming. However, i think that the images turned out better than i initially thought they did especially the 3rd photoshopped image. Each of my photoshopped images follow a more dusk environment which provides my images with very distinct scenic views. I followed very simplistic architectural colour/texture schemes as it is what i prefer over very vibrant designs.
Fusion 360 Initials Rendered Model
In my experience with Fusion 360, i never tried rendering a design before so this was an interesting tutorial to follow. I found it very interesting experimenting with different material finishes according to my personal preference. I chose three materials to incorporate into my design. The interior incorporates black leather as it conveys a very elegant and stylish finish to the interior. Additionally, majority of the design is covered in tiffany blue, accentuating a gemstone facade as well as a timeless sophistication and luxury. It also represents one of my favourite films, "Breakfast at Tiffany's". Furthermore, the glass facade on the right face contributes to the simplicity and sophistication of the final render.
WEEK 7
NOTE: Week 6 was a catchup week with our tutors so no work was set. I just made sure that i was all caught up with week 5s work before continuing onto week 7s tutorial work.
Lighting Fixture 1
Scale 1:20
Lighting Fixture 2
Scale 1:20
From simple to the sublime designs, i experimented with can select shape, size and configuration to create different lighting arrangements to create the living space's personality and points of interest, while enhancing a space with sunlight. This geometric experimentation will be an aspect that will be found throughout my models.
Fusion 260 2.5D Physical Model
Scale 1:20
The 2.5 box model took a lot longer to make than anticipated as i needed to figure out the measurements for each of the faces as well as additionally add the measurements of the facades that would extend out (e.g the front has a smaller box that extends out). It had been a while since i had made a model similar to this however, i found this challenge surprisingly very enjoyable to create. Near the end i found trouble trying to glue the last walls together as the flaps would not stay in place. However, in the small spaces that i had given myself, i used thin toothpicks to hold them in place. Overall this was probably the most successful model that i have created so far.
Fusion 360 Initials Model - MLN
Final Model
The creation of the initials was most likely the most difficult to create. Although at first it was very easy, the part that i found most challenging was creating the shell as my letters had parts that would not allow both sides to become hollow. I had tried adjusting the position of the letters as well as changing the shape of them but i still had the same result. I ended up redrawing two models before my final one worked.
